Airwalk Invisible Pop Up Store
Experiential / AR
Back in the Nineties, Airwalk was the sneaker of choice for skateboarders the world over. But as the 2000s progressed, Airwalk found themselves falling out of favour.
So in 2010 they approached us for some advertising to help change people’s perception. We came back to them with the Invisible Pop Up Store.

The Invisible Pop Up Store used AR and geo-location, combined with a geo-fenced retail function, to create a pop-up store wherever a brand wanted it to appear.
It meant that Airwalk could create an exclusive sale for their classic Airwalk Jim in invisible stores smack bang in Washington Square, NYC, and along Venice Beach, LA.
